We recently completed a major kitchen renovation for Stewart and Amy from Margate which included opening up the room by knocking down walls, building out an existing sliding door and incorporating a new fixed pivot door to the outside.
Their existing kitchen was over 30 years old and no longer accommodated the demands of a growing family. Stewart and Amy were very particular about ensuring the design we worked together to achieve, provided them more practicality and heaps of storage space. This was largely achieved by incorporating lots of drawers in place of cupboards. Also, the choice of island bench with bench top breakfast bar, allows extra access and meal area space.
The door and drawer faces Stewart and Amy chose are Polytec Bendigo in Classic Matte White. Drawers are Blum Antaro Full Extension, with all hinges Blum Soft Close. The bench top is Caesarstone Raw Concrete with 40mm edge, and Splashback is White Subway Tiles. Appliances chosen are Artusi Cooktop, Oven and Rangehood.
